Boots Brisket

Ingredients:

Slab of brisket – 10-12 lbs.

1 bottle of Italian dressing (12 oz, any kind)

1 pack of hot curry spice ( liKe SHAN’S)

1 Large owen bag

salt and pepper.

Sauce:

1 can tomato sauce 16 oz

4 tbs of brown sugar

1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar

Wash Brisket and wipe dry, the place in the Owen bag, add all the ingredients and seal bag, mix the ingredients and apply to the meat.  Marinate of 2-4 hours at room temp.  Place the owen bag in a large pan and place in the owen and cook @ 195 Deg. for 7-8 Hrs.  Remove from owen and place meat on a foil and smoke meat for 2 hrs with your favorite wood chips. ( fruite chips will give a sweet flavor and hickory will give it a wild taste.)

After smoking, cool meat to room temp before slicing.  For the BBQ sauce, open can of tomato sauce and add  the brown suger and cook the paste, add apple cider vinegar and (all the spice from the left over brisket water after you run it thru the sieve ).
