Pranayama

Pranayama (Sanskrit: प्राणायाम prāṇāyāma) is a Sanskrit word meaning “restraint of the prana or breath”. The word is composed of two Sanskrit words, Prāna, life force, or vital energy, particularly, the breath, and “āyāma”, to suspend or restrain. In other words breath control. Breathing is the most vital function of our body, and all the well being is related to good breathing habits, in yoga this has to be practiced along with your asana’s.
